Maxsys Fuel Systems Exhibits at HEATEC 2015, Shanghai
Maxsys Fuel Systems, together with Webster Combustion - two brands of Selas Heat Technology Company - recently exhibited at the HEATEC 2015 show in Shanghai China, held on 14-16 October 2015 at the World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The show included some 150 exhibitors from 13 countries including Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and UK.
In addition to the exhibits, the Expo included professional forums and seminars focusing on green boilers, biomass, other renewable energy utilization, and many other fuel-saving programs. The show hosted around 8,000 visitors from 40 countries, mostly the republic of China, but also from other parts of Asia, Europe, The Middle East, North and South America, and Australia.
Maxsys’ Commercial Director, Paul Finnegan, who attended the show, commented, “It’s important for us to be at the HEATEC Expo in China since 95% of our customers are international. China, in particular, is implementing significant initiatives to save fuel and reduce emissions, objectives which dovetail perfectly into our mission as a clean-tech provider of industrial energy saving products.”
Maxsys received considerable interest at its booth from attendees involved in the automotive, food, beverage, brewery, dairy, glass, textile, paper making, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and steel industries as well as from boiler manufacturers themselves.
China offers enormous opportunity for companies involved in energy efficiency technologies. In November 2014, China’s National Energy Bureau, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Environmental Protection and other agencies jointly issued a "coal-fired boiler energy-saving and environmental protection comprehensive improvement project implementation plan." Its major objectives through 2018 are to complete the transformation of old, inefficient boilers to new energy-saving systems, improve the efficiency of coal-fired industrial boilers by 6%, and save 40 million tons of standard coal. The project will push nationwide coal-fired boiler renovation and foster the rapid development of energy efficient boilers, biomass energy and other environmentally friendly heating technologies.
